Laura Leigh Hair & Beauty, award winning hairdressers in Cheltenham, appointed Great Expectations & Elliott Wakefield Events in October to support the sales & marketing of the salon.
We were of course delighted – having known Laura for many years, we were only too happy to support her with our business consultancy, providing sales & marketing insight and plans, as well as developing her new website, copy writing, designing collateral and much more.
That to one side, the other aspect of our support was through our event planning service, Elliott Wakefield Events. Based in Gloucestershire but available nationally and internationally, our wedding planning and event production service is second to none – large or small.
Laura was looking to have a seasonal event to engage with her audience. We stepped in to up-the-ante, and designed ‘The Style Preview’. Knowing that Laura has her finger on the pulse of current trends, we knew she’d love the creative aspect (which we didn’t interfere in) – designing the hair looks and styles, and matching the looks with beautiful Karen Millen outfits.
With our business hat on, we made sure the event had a call to action, and Laura offered vouchers for bookings for her invited guests – we’re sure we’ll see plenty of people sporting the looks from the Style Preview very soon!
Our concept to production service for Laura included writing her press release and coordinating media, including sourcing Cotswold Eye for the video production, creating the original e-invite (see here) and subsequently designing a follow up mailer to her wider database (see here) – you’ll notice back on the Great Expectations side of things that we’re pressing forwards with our sales plan for Laura, with a fabulous IMAGE skincare offer that we have designed for her.
We’re often known for our parties and weddings, but with Laura Leigh it’s the perfect case study of all of our services working together; creative services such as copy writing, digital design, event planning as well as business services such as creating personnel paperwork, reviewing and creating SOPs, building business and brand partnerships and coordinating cross brand marketing, and creating competitor analyses & sales plans.
